Allyson and Jake first met in 2019 while both were living in the Southern Tier of New York near Binghamton. Allyson an X-ray technologist at a local hospital, and Jake an engineer for a local factory.

They quickly bonded over their love of travel, movies and food. Unfortunately for their travel plans, a few months after they started dating the COVID Pandemic had begun and was in full swing. While the Pandemic had been tough on travel, Allyson and Jake did not let this get them down, they still made time to go camping, watch movies at home and spend time with their friends and family.

Once the Pandemic had ended, they began to spend most every weekend traveling around the northeast visiting friends and seeing new sights. They then travelled to the southwestern US to see the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Zion National Park, their love growing each mile they traveled. Finally, in 2022 on a trip to the Dominican Republic, Jake got down on one knee and proposed, and the couple was set to be wed. The wedding preparations did not slow their travel dreams, as they continued to see new sights and create new experiences at every opportunity, going as far as Germany, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands in 2023.

Allyson and Jake plan to continue this trend of seeing the world into their married life, to share their experiences with their friends and loved ones.
